“Christian Savings has been a dream to work with,” says ARISE Church General Manager, David Monk. “We’ve been able to partner with a funder who shares our core values and together build the Kingdom of God. Working with Christian Savings has meant we’ve built a relationship with people who actually understand the church.”
In 2002, seven people moved to Wellington to start what is now ARISE Church. They met regularly in a dance and drama studio with bright yellow walls. Fifteen years later, ARISE Church is made up of thousands of people, meeting in seven locations around New Zealand, from Whangarei to Dunedin.

In Wellington, ARISE has always relied on leasing premises for their Sunday service locations, their offices and also their midweek meeting, but now they have been able to build a hub for all their regional activities.
The new ARISE Centre in Lower Hutt includes a 1200- seat auditorium, multipurpose breakout function rooms, a large office space to house their regional and national staff, spaces for the ARISE Ministry School, children’s programme facilities, and a large foyer and cafe for connection, used both during the week and in between services.
“The team at Christian Savings has been so professional to work with and have been able to save us tens of thousands of dollars in reduced interest and fees. Simply put, we’ve been able to put more money towards what we set out to do, which was build a building, and less towards fees. I would strongly recommend Christian Savings to any church looking for financing options.”
