In November 2022, Christian Savings held a national conference “Building the Church for Today and Tomorrow” where the topics from seven speakers focused on how governance of churches and charities can be promoted and practiced well.

This is a recording from one of the seven sessions we held.

Learn how to make sense of the church today and the challenges that will come tomorrow. The church is undergoing a season of change as our society increasingly distances itself from Christianity. How do we position ourselves and our organisations in seasons of change and public scrutiny? How do we foster deep faith communities in the context of dropping church attendance in a post-Covid world?

About Frank Ritchie

Frank is the lead chaplain for Media Chaplaincy New Zealand. He is an ordained Wesleyan Methodist minister and leads a small church in Hamilton. Frank has a history in radio broadcasting and can be heard every Sunday night on Newstalk ZB as well as Rhema Media’s stations from time to time. He highly values the place of the media in society and many in the industry have trusted him enough to sit down and have confidential conversations about life and work.

Frank has a spacious view of the world and a curiosity about various worldviews. His own way of seeing the world compels him to see value in all people.
