• Your organisation must have an established governance structure.
• You will need to be up to date with your financial accounts and relevant filing obligations and registrations.
• When applying, you will need to demonstrate that you can comfortably afford the proposed debt.
• You will need to submit properly prepared financial accounts for the last three years.
• Your operational cash flow will need to cover the projected servicing costs by 20% (DSCR of 1.2)
• All lending must be secured by property which can be mortgaged.
• The maximum loan-to-value ratios are 80% for residential property, and 60% for all other lending.
• To purchase a church building
• Housing for pastors
• Community housing
• Investment properties (rentals)
• Soup kitchen or other community facilities
• Capital expenditure
• Personal mortgage loans (at this stage)
• For cash flow or operational purposes in any instance where there is no security
• For any start-up ventures which have no established income streams
