Glenn Teal (MSc (Hons), BTP, Grad Cert Mgmt, MNZPI) has worked in commercial property and investment management for the past 25 years, including complex property transactions and construction projects. He is a director of several businesses involved in horticulture and agriculture, and a director/trustee of a range of for-purpose organisations which manage investments for the betterment of their respective beneficiary groups. Glenn particularly enjoys ensuring businesses are well run, and that the interests of company shareholders and trust beneficiaries are well represented within the broader range of governance responsibilities. He is a member of the Institute of Directors. Outside of professional roles, Glenn is the Chief Fire Officer of NZ’s biggest volunteer fire brigade – the Auckland Operational Support Brigade with which he has been volunteering all of his adult life. He attends the Auckland Baptist Tabernacle Church.
